Hawai'i. . . Honolulu . . . Waikiki. To many people throughout the world, Hawai'i and Waikiki are one and the same. Statistics show that approximately 68% of the all visitors to Hawai'i spend all or part of their vacation in Waikiki.

The greatest concentration of shopping, entertainment and activities are located in or near Waikiki. It is the hub of the visitor industry of Hawaii, and the location of a new, world class convention center.

Because of the number of people wanting to vacation in Waikiki from around the world, the demand for timeshare intervals is very high. In contrast, the supply is very limited and it will continue to be so. Since the demand greatly exceeds the availability, it is the place to own timeshare for maximum trading value. Especially rare in Waikiki are two-bedroom units, being available in only two resorts.

Oahu has only 20.4 percent (665 units) of the state's 3,261 total timeshare units in 1996, according to a report by KPMG Peat Marwick. And Hawaii's units, spread through approximately 60 different resorts, account for approximately 4 percent of the of the inventory in the U.S.
